I was able to take part and cover DerekStar’s Mini Art show this past weekend. We had it in My Coffee Studio in Cerritos, CA. At first the weather seemed to keep the audience away but the music, art, and delicious coffee brought in the masses.
Fantastic Music, Beautiful Art, Great food, and friendly people translates to one fun Saturday Night in Cerritos.

I had a chance to photograph Nina+Mesh at the place of their first Meeting, at UCSD. We spent a day together and had a blast!

Sooo….
It’s been over two weeks since my last post. I apologize.
So as far as my photography goes, let me fill you guys in.
Travel
I was back in Kentucky for a few short days. After what seemed like numerous delays, I eventually was on my way back to fort Knox.

I was able to witness a beautiful Kentucky sunrise in Louisville, right next to the Ohio River.

During my trip I learned the importance in knowing your gear and how much you need it. I brought way too much with me and didn’t use most of it. Other times, I would need it but the situation didn’t call for the fisheye nor the extra speedlight.
Home Again…
Once Home I was able to hit the ground running. I set some time aside to finish the eshoot photos from last week.

And today…
I was blessed with the opportunity to shoot an old friend who needed some portraits done.

i’ll definitely try to blog more often as I’m becoming busier and busier as a photographer.
